Handspun Loose Baby Alpaca and Silk Bouclé Skein ☆ 85g 3ply Alpaca, Tussah Silk, Shetland and Merino Wool Yarn

A balanced loose loop style Bouclé (3ply), 50% Baby Alpaca and Tussah silk, 25% Natural Grey Shetland Wool and 25% Merino Wool yarn, spun on my beloved Ashford Spinning Wheel.

This skein is 85g in weight. Boucléd fluffy and carded baby Alpaca and Tussah silk with a Shetland Wool core and Merino binder.

It's also plied on my Ashford wheel.

Baby Alpaca is fluffy and incredibly soft! The tussah silk add even more luxe and softness. The Shetland and Merino creates a strong adaptable base for the yarn. A beautiful and super soft yarn, perfect for any textile art. From crochet, to knit, to weave.

All yarns are finished, washed and the twist is set before sent out. They are packaged in plantable paper yarn band, remove all tape and information stickers before planting.

Care Instructions

To protect and prolong the lifespan of you textile creations please follow the following tips:

• Spot clean where possible
• Hand wash in lukewarm/room temperature water
• Try to agitate item as little as possible whilst washing
  
• Use a small amount gentle detergent, PH neutral soap or wool wash
• Do not tumble dry
• Do not use washing machine if possible
• Dry flat when possible
• Air your piece as an alternative to washing
• Store garments folded rather than hung
